Mr. Fatih, General Manager of KAMYON OTOMOTIV Turkey, recently visited Chengdu Yiwei New Energy Automobile Co.,Ltd. Yiwei’s Chairman Li Hongpeng, Technical Director Xia Fugen, Hubei Yiwei General Manager Wang Junyuan, Deputy General Manager Li Tao, and Head of Overseas Business Wu Zhenhua extended a warm welcome. After several days of in-depth talks and field visits, the two sides reached a strategic cooperation agreement and officially signed the deal, marking a major step forward in accelerating Yiwei’s expansion into the Turkish and European new energy vehicle markets.
On July 21, the two parties held their first round of in-depth discussions at Yiwei’s Chengdu headquarters. The talks focused on key topics such as business plans, vehicle model requirements, regulatory certifications, and cooperation models. Addressing the specific needs of the Turkish market, the meeting outlined several areas of collaboration, including full-series electric chassis solutions (12-ton, 18-ton, 25-ton, and 31-ton), customized services, and battery swapping station construction plans.
On July 22, the two parties held a signing ceremony at Yiwei’s Chengdu headquarters, officially establishing their partnership. Following the ceremony, they toured Yiwei’s testing center to gain firsthand insight into the company’s strengths in core technology R&D and manufacturing. The advanced testing equipment, standardized production lines, and rigorous quality control system further strengthened the confidence of the Turkish partner in Yiwei’s products.
On July 23, Mr.Fatih visited Yiwei’s factory in Suizhou, Hubei Province, for an in-depth tour of the production lines. They experienced static displays and live demonstrations of finished chassis, participated in final inspection and field testing, and gained a direct understanding of Yiwei vehicles’ reliability. In subsequent meetings, both parties reached key agreements on production line construction and prototype implementation, supporting the Turkish partner’s localized manufacturing efforts and enhancing the full vehicle lifecycle management system.
Yiwei Auto continues to advance steadily on its path to internationalization. The signing with the Turkish company marks another important milestone in its global growth journey. With its full range of electric chassis technologies, customized service capabilities, and localized support, Yiwei is ready to deliver a tailored “Yiwei Solution” for Turkey’s transition to new energy commercial vehicles.
Moving forward, both parties will take this cooperation as a starting point to deepen technical collaboration and market expansion, jointly opening a new chapter in the global development of new energy special-purpose vehicles.
