In the autumn of 2018, Yiwei Auto embarked on its journey in Pidu, Chengdu, driven by a vision for new energy specialty vehicles. Over the past eight years, we have continued to grow and evolve with the industry, with every milestone made possible by the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of our team.
As autumn brought a festive spirit, Yiwei Auto celebrated its 8th anniversary with events at its main venue in Chengdu and a second venue in Suizhou. Employees gathered both in person and online to celebrate this milestone, reflect on the journey so far, and look ahead to the next chapter of growth.
Pre-Celebration Activities
Before the celebration began, employees took part in a range of interactive activities, including anniversary stickers, a themed message wall, and photo spots. They shared reflections on their journey with Yiwei Auto and captured special moments along the way.
As team members and guests took their seats, the lights dimmed and a commemorative video marked the start of the celebration. Featuring key milestones, project achievements, and moments of teamwork, the video looked back on Yiwei Auto’s journey from its early beginnings to the company it is today.
United Voices, One Vision
With the video concluded, the main ceremony officially began. Mr. Li Hongpeng, Chairman of Yiwei Auto, took the stage to reflect on the company’s eight-year journey, express his gratitude to the team for their dedication, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the industry. He also outlined the company’s strategic direction and future development plans, inspiring the team to move forward with confidence.
A company’s growth is rooted in the vision and commitment that shaped its beginnings. Mr. Jiang Genghua, Yiwei Auto’s No. 001 founding team member and Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Center, shared stories from the company’s early days, revisiting the challenges faced along the way and the ideals that inspired its founding. His reflections offered a reminder of the purpose and values that continue to guide Yiwei Auto today.
Throughout Yiwei Auto’s journey, progress has come from teams working together to overcome challenges. Mr. Wang Junyuan and Mr. Yuan Feng, both Deputy General Managers, took the stage to share experiences from key stages of the company’s development, reflecting on the challenges they tackled and the teamwork that helped move the business forward. Their stories highlighted the determination and hands-on spirit behind Yiwei Auto’s growth.
Three long-serving team members from Hubei Yiwei — Mr. Li Xianghong, Marketing Director; Mr. Liu Chaolin from the Finance Department; and Mr. Dai Shuai from the Manufacturing Department — took the stage to share their personal experiences of growing alongside the company. Their stories reflected the commitment, perseverance, and shared sense of purpose that have shaped Yiwei Auto’s journey.
Passing the Torch
The sharing session by tenured staff concluded, marking the official start of the event: the address by new partners and the investiture ceremony for passing the torch between new and veteran team members. Wang Tao, Head of After-sales Service, and Yang Qianwen, Head of Marketing Department, the 2026 newly admitted partner representatives, took the stage one after another. They shared their commitment to growing alongside Yiwei and shouldering responsibilities together. Following that, Mr. Li Hongpeng, Chairman of the Board, presented certificates of honor to the new partners.
For Yiwei, presenting these certificates of honor is not only full recognition of the partners’ past contributions, but also a way to pass the torch of responsibility and mission. It encourages new and veteran team members to stand side by side, sustain Yiwei’s pioneering spirit, rally our core talent, and lay a solid talent foundation for the company’s long-term growth as we advance hand in hand toward our shared business goals. A group photo was taken on site to capture this meaningful moment of succession.
Let Us Mark This Anniversary Together
After years of hard work, we celebrate our 8th anniversary. Mr. Li, Mr. Yuan and Mr. Wang came on stage to cut the anniversary cake. Everyone raised a glass to eight years of teamwork, wishing the company continued steady growth and new success.
