This week, YIWEI commenced its 14th round of new employee onboarding training. 22 new employees from YIWEI New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and its Suizhou branch gathered in Chengdu to kick off the first phase of the training, which included classroom sessions at the company’s headquarters and a visit to the Innovation Center.
Firstly, Chairman Li Hongpeng warmly welcomed everyone and provided an overview of the company. The new employees also introduced themselves, fostering mutual understanding among the group.
This training session marked the largest intake of new employees since the company’s establishment. The new hires were assigned to various departments including the Marketing Center, Manufacturing Department 1, Manufacturing Department 2, Quality and Regulatory Affairs Department, and General Affairs Department. They hailed from different locations such as Suizhou and Jingmen in Hubei Province, Dazu in Chongqing, and Chengdu in Sichuan Province, injecting a fresh influx of “Generation Z” into the company.
Through the week-long training and learning sessions, the new employees gained a deeper understanding of the company’s corporate culture, the responsibilities of different departments, the state of technological research and development, and the company’s products.
After concluding the first day’s classroom sessions, the company organized a grand welcome banquet for the new employees. Food acted as a bridge for communication and enhanced the emotional connection between new and existing staff members.
Filled with hope, aspirations, and youthful energy as they embarked on their journey with YIWEI, the new employees showcased their talents on the sports field during breaks. They played badminton and basketball, even engaging in a basketball match alongside the veteran employees, demonstrating their skills and quickly integrating into the collective spirit.
After a period of internship and the one-week training program, two new employees were randomly interviewed to hear their “fresh” voices upon joining the company:
Marketing Center – Wang Ke:
“In December, I was honored to join YIWEI New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. in Chengdu. After three rounds of interviews, I joined the Suizhou branch as an intern. I chose the sales position and started at the Marketing Center in Suizhou, where I studied and familiarized myself with the company’s products alongside five other colleagues in sales positions.
Later, I participated in the week-long training program organized by the company, with the second stop being the Chengdu headquarters. During this week, the senior colleagues shared their knowledge generously. I got to know many people in the company and learned a lot.
The senior colleagues in the company are very kind. I no longer feel the initial restraint I had when I first arrived, and I have adapted to the sales work. In the future, I will continue to study hard, work diligently, and strive to be dedicated and successful.”
Quality and Regulatory Affairs Department – Liu Yongxin:
“Since joining YIWEI Motors in November, I have felt the warmth and vitality here. The leaders and colleagues in the company are friendly, creating a good working atmosphere that allowed me to quickly integrate into this big family.
As a member of the Quality and Regulatory Affairs Department, my responsibilities include understanding and complying with the relevant regulations in the automotive industry, as well as debugging and testing vehicles to ensure they meet standards and requirements. At the beginning, I was not very familiar with these aspects, but my colleagues patiently taught me and shared their experiences and techniques, enabling me to quickly improve my abilities and knowledge. Now, I can independently complete my work and have a deep understanding and mastery of automotive regulations and vehicle debugging.
I am very grateful to YIWEI for giving me this precious opportunity and platform to showcase my talents and potential. I also appreciate the support and encouragement from my leaders and colleagues, which helped me overcome difficulties and challenges, and realize my value and contribution.
